Canal Walk festive season kicks off

From 5 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, Canal Walk’s Centre Court will turn into a playful Stitch-inspired wonderland. Families will find two festive slides, creative play zones and character moments designed to keep kids entertained through the holidays.

A festive playground for all ages

The headline attraction is Slide 626, a dual-lane ice slide built for friendly races. Riders push their boats to the top, then launch side-by-side for a fast, smooth ride to the bottom.

The Akatoo-kee Slide offers a more daring option. It starts with a slow glide before dropping into a steep in-run that shoots riders into the air and onto a cushioned airbag. For little ones, the mini slide offers a safe, gentle alternative.

PEP, the event’s main sponsor, brings a bright character-driven twist. Their family-focused touch adds to the festive mood and keeps the experience playful and fun.

Snow play. Sand play. Memory making.

Families who want more time in the space will enjoy the snow and sand play zones. Kids can build, dig and explore while soaking up the holiday energy. A photographer will capture fun, candid moments, available for purchase at the photo ticket counter.

Ticket options

The experience is designed for families, with flexible ticket options.

Full Rider (5 years and up)
Access to Slide 626, the Akatoo-kee Slide and both play zones, plus the option to take photos.

Mini Rider (under 5)
Access to the mini slide, snow play and sand play.

Mini Rider Plus (ages 3 to 5)
Includes the mini slide and play zones, plus the option to ride Slide 626 if they feel confident.

Adults may purchase a Non-Rider ticket. Early-bird family packages are available on Webtickets.
