Get ready, Cape Town! This Easter, the city is about to transform into one massive playground packed with surprises, thrills, and epic treasures waiting to be found! From Monday, 14 April, to Thursday, 17 April, Cape Town Tourism invites all locals to jump into the Cape Town Easter Treasure Hunt, in partnership with Hint Hunt Cape Town.It’s ahigh-energy, fun-filled, citywide adventure that’s all about rediscovering the magic of your city and unlocking a sense of adventure in the process.

Cape Town is overflowing with gems begging to be explored, from the stunning coastlines to the secret nooks in our valleys, from the vibrant vineyards to those hidden spots only the cool locals know about. It’s time to put on your adventure hat, solve the clues, race to secret locations, and scoop up daily prizes that’ll have you grinning from ear to ear, leading up to the grand finale:

“This treasure hunt is pure excitement in motion. It’s an excuse to get out there, have a laugh, and fall head over heels for Cape Town all over again,” says Enver Duminy, CEO of Cape Town Tourism. “The city is buzzing with energy, beauty, and hidden treasures. Sometimes, all it takes is an adventure like this to remind us just how much there is to love right under our noses. It’s time to have fun and let the city surprise you at every turn.”

How to get in on the action:

  • Hit Follow on @lovecapetown on Instagram and Facebook. Clues drop daily at 9 AM and 1 PM sharp: don’t miss a second.
  • Solve the clue and race to meet the Love Cape Town Thando Team at one of the secret spots revealed daily. Two locations to choose from, twice the fun!
  • Be the first to rock up and snatch a prize!
  • Didn’t make it first? Don’t stress! As long as you show up on time after solving the clue, you’re still in the running for the grand prize draw!
