Get ready, families – Disney’s Zootropolis 2 is bounding back onto the big screen this November, and it’s set to be a roaring good time for kids and parents alike.
If your little ones adored the original, they’re in for an even bigger treat this time. The new trailer just dropped (along with sneak peeks and an eye-catching poster), and fans are already hopping with excitement.
What’s the new Zootropolis movie about?
After solving one of Zootropolis’ biggest cases in the first film, Officer Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and her fox partner Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) hit a bit of a bump in their friendship. Their boss, Chief Bogo (Idris Elba), sends them to “Partners in Crisis” therapy (yes, even animated cops need counselling!).
But before they can unpack their emotions, the pair are pulled into a brand-new mystery — and this one slithers in, quite literally, with a suspicious venomous snake at the centre of the action.
Meet the new faces (and furry favourites)
Zootropolis 2 welcomes some exciting new characters, including:
- Gary De’Snake – a sly serpent voiced by Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan
- Nibbles – a cheeky newcomer voiced by Fortune Feimster
- Dr Fuzzby – a chilled-out quokka therapist voiced by Quinta Brunson
Returning fan favourites include:
- Shakira as the fabulous Gazelle
- Bonnie Hunt and Don Lake as Judy’s bunny parents
- Jenny Slate as Bellwether
- Plus voice talents Alan Tudyk, Maurice LaMarche, Leah Latham and more

From the creators of the original Oscar-winning hit
Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and produced by Yvett Merino, Zootropolis 2 is Disney Animation’s 64th feature. Expect the same award-winning mix of heart, humour, and high-quality animation that made the first film a global favourite.
“It’s been an absolute joy to reteam with so many actors who made the first film so special,” says director Jared Bush, “and so exciting to expand the world with our phenomenal new cast members.”
