Jessie J shares honest post-surgery update: “We all got this!”

Jessie J is keeping it real, and keeping her sense of humour, following her recent breast cancer surgery.

The British songstress, who revealed her diagnosis earlier this month, gave fans an unfiltered look into the highs and lows of the past 48 hours. Taking to Instagram on Monday night, the Price Tag hitmaker shared photos and videos from her hospital stay, including visits from her partner Chanan Safir Colman and their baby boy.

“Blood warning‼️” her caption began. “This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours… Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit.” She added that she’s now home, resting and waiting on her results, fingers crossed.

True to form, Jessie brought a bit of comedy to a tough situation: “Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn’t, but funny to imagine.”

Among the carousel of content, fans saw a video of Jessie singing from her hospital bed before surgery and a clip of herself on stage at her sold-out Wembley Stadium concert on 16 June, her last performance before going in for treatment. In the video, she’s seen telling the crowd: “Before I go and beat breast cancer.”

Her message to fans was heartfelt: “Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!”
