Top tips for transforming your body

Hi guys, Em here! Health and nutrition coach for the past 11 years. I’m so in love with the human body, the female form, and how incredible everything that we can do is. We are magnificent! Yet, I meet beautiful women daily who feel insecure, inadequate, and frustrated with their bodies.

The large majority of body shame is influenced by media and society’s expectations of what we, as women, should look like. The pressure is astounding and often unrealistic. Take a deep breath beautiful, you are not alone. You are perfect as you are.

I’m going to simplify what’s beneficial for your overall health and what impacts the way your body feels, functions and flows. These basics are easy to incorporate daily and will transform your life. I’m happy to share the secrets to sleeping better, ageing gracefully, boosting energy, and feeling confident.

Wind down and rest girl!
Proper rest and recovery are important for hormone health, cortisol levels, and repair. This affects blood sugar levels, mood, digestive function, energy, ageing (skin, hair & nails), and weight. If you get nothing else out of this, please try this one thing. Especially if you’re a mama – prioritise sleep.

One ingredient foods
Focus on one ingredient foods – fruit, veg, protein, grains, nuts, etc. If it isn’t processed and doesn’t have additives, colourants or preservatives, it’s a YES. Long ingredient list? Higher chance of nasties.

Move that sexy body!
Any movement is good. Focus on what you enjoy. Commit to 30 minutes daily. Start with daily walks. Add more once you’re consistent.

Water yourself!
Herbal teas, diluted juices, or infused water all count. Coffee is allowed – two cups max.

Avoid the crowd pleasers
Events won’t stop. Make healthy choices, stay hydrated, and keep moving. Nail it 80% of the time, live a little 20%.

Self-care please!
Self-care boosts mood and confidence. Doesn’t need to be pricey. A beach walk, a nail paint, or an at-home spa day works.

Strategise, schedule, execute!
Plan your week, set reminders, shop smart. These habits will change your life. You deserve this.
